Explanation
Generally people like to worship God. The disappointing fact is that people are busy doing the wrong set of things or doing the right things in the wrong way. Everybody supposed to know what true worship is. You should know that:
  1. Worship is not about building great temples and cathedrals.

  2. It is not about wearing fine and expensive dresses.

  3. It is not about singing the best song.

  4. It is not about gathering multitudes of people together.

  5. It is not about bringing the best and greatest offering.

  6. It is not about many years of service or longest service awards.

  7. It is not about prayers, fasting, penances, rosaries, novenas, crusades, retreats, fellowship, camps etc. It is not about how many pastors and ministers you know, like those who count and boast of the number of ministers that attended their wedding or funeral occasions.

  8. It is not about mounting loud speakers and shouting of one’s prayers. Always disturbing the neighbourhood.

  9. It is not about where you want to worship or not.

  10. It is not about messages, prophecies, anointing, testimonies, signs and wonders.

  11. It is not about excitement or entertainment. All these things are not true worship. True worship consists in knowing and doing the will of God. This is true service and worship.

  12. Worship is not about answer my prayer, answer my prayer, answer my prayer. Do this for me, do that for me. People go to churches, ministries, fellowship or camp simply because of what they want God to do for them. You notice that once God answers their prayer, they stop coming. Some would stop attending if they observe that their prayer has not been answered after a given period of time, which may be one, two or three months. 13. It is all about what you should do for God. That is why the day of worship is called the Lord’s Day. You have six days to do what you want in all righteousness, and one day to serve and worship God for your own good.
